Don’t Keep Offense Alive

June Evans

Forgiving people who have wronged you, hurt you, and betrayed you is required in scripture. The Bible tells you that God in Christ Jesus has forgiven you, and you must also forgive. This is easier said than done, but God never tells you to do anything you cannot do. Make a decision to forgive. Just like you made a decision to accept Christ you decide to forgive. Give God time to heal your emotions. Healing your emotions is a process, but the process will take you to healing. Take control of your thought life. One of the tricks of the enemy is to keep offense alive in your thoughts. Take your thoughts captive. God does not remember how badly you treated Him before you knew Him. Endeavor to think like God. Do not withdraw from life and people. I agree that there are people who act very ugly, but there are a lot of us people who are good to know. Let go of those who hurt you, and embrace the people God sends to help you. All of this wisdom works for I have been there and done this. It works. Do it and be free.  #‎writtenwisdomfrommamajune‬
